OPSEU Local #353 Scholarship

OPSEU Local 353 has its own scholarship available to members and children of members.

The amount of the Scholarship award is $1000.

The Scholarship recipient must be a member in good standing, or the child of a member in good standing, of OPSEU Local 353, including retirees.

The Scholarship recipient must be enrolled in a full-time course of study leading to a diploma, certificate or degree from any publicly recognized college or university.

The criteria for selection of the Scholarship winner will be the same criteria used for the "OFL Labour Honour Role Scholarship". Information about the 2011 topic essay is at this link. Note, however, that the OFL scholarship is only available to students entering their first year, while our scholarship is available to any student going into any year of their program.
